In recurve men, the Dutch guys are in favor for the win, with Sjef van den Berg(NED) having a great year behind him he will be eager to get another KOA win, World championship bronze medalist Steve Wijler who had nothing short of a great outdoor season is also known for putting in great scores and will be a fierce competitor as well. Other competitors we expect to make the final are Guy Matzkin(ISR), Pit Klein(LUX), Tilman Bremer(GER) and Mitch Dielemans(NED).

In ladies recurve there is always room for a surprise winner, returning champions Sietske Vissers(NED) and Viveca Beckers(LUX) will have have a big task ahead of them with 2017 top qualifier Dagmar Kreikemeyer(GER) returning but also Olympians Gabriela Bayardo(MEX) and Reena Parnat(EST) taking aim at KOA victory.
